Anna studied literature and creative writing, then went on to complete a master's degree in cultural management at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. Currently, her doctoral studies focus on the book market, small publishers and book professionals. During her undergraduate studies, she worked at Czech Television as an editor, as well as at the Good Czech Association and on projects of the Operational Programmes Research, Development and Education at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She worked as a book producer at the Nová beseda publishing house. At the beginning of 2020, she co-founded the Knihex platform, a professional organisation of small publishers and independent booksellers, which she now heads. She has published poetry collections Nejsi ze Sudet? [Aren't you from the Sudetenland?] (2019) and Nádech výdech [Breath In, Breathe Out] (2015).
